In this fun acting course for intermediates, our teacher will teach you all you need to deepen your theatrical journey and prepare you for a mini graduation show! Acting techniques, how to use your body and voice, build a character, how to learn your lines so you can stay open to your impulses. We will also teach basic Meisner technique using the Repetition Exercise and other exercises to help students build a truthful connection with their scene partners and as part of a larger group.
Through a combo of improvisation games and theater exercises, you will train your capacity to respond spontaneously and authentically to your fellow actors. In this course you will have the freedom to experiment in a safe environment to create a story, together with your fellow actors, that we will present in our mini-graduation show. You will learn story-telling, as well as physical and vocal skills to allow you to build a character and story that expresses something meaningful to you!
