Terms & Conditions - Act Attack Training Courses & Workshops
Act Attack is Committed to Ensure That:
- Our courses are led by experienced, inspirational, and motivational instructors, with most being native English speakers and a few who are highly fluent in English.
- Classes are typically taught by the same teacher throughout the course. In the rare event of an instructor's unavailability, we ensure a qualified substitute continues the course seamlessly.
- We don’t have a permanent office or dedicated locations. Instead, we rent versatile studios, like Yoga or other spaces, specifically for our theater classes and always very close to the city center. Because these spaces host other activities, visits outside of our scheduled class times aren’t possible. Only our teacher is present during classes (and of course George or the community assistant, reachable via WhatsApp) . While we’d love to have our own spaces in all 8+ cities we operate in, this is something we hope to achieve as we grow.
- Act Attack courses are tailored for total beginners and people with little acting or improv experience, and most do not include a final performance. Based on demand, beginner courses may progress to intermediate and advanced levels, potentially leading to a final showcase. We prioritize student growth and satisfaction, adjusting course structures as needed to suit the group. While the course content generally follows what is outlined on our website, it may be slightly adapted based on the group's needs and abilities.
- We occasionally capture photos, videos, or stories during classes with student consent for two purposes: A) to share memories and highlight student achievements, and B) to promote our community on Instagram and Facebook. We respect privacy and will not use images or videos of those who opt out. If any are posted by mistake, we will promptly remove them upon request. You can view previous posts at our instagram page.
As a Student, you need to:
- Pay (via bank transfer, payment link or via our new e-shop)
- Option 1: Pay the full price for a course/class-pack in advance, before the date of the first class or taster class, if you have chosen to commit to a full course/class-pack upfront.
- Option 2: If you liked the taster class and decide to continue with the full course/class-pack, pay the pack available before the second group class starts.
- Option 3: If you are only attending a taster class and not more classes, pay the taster class fee in advance, before the date of the first class.
NOTE: Priority is given to Students who booked a full course/class-pack in advance (students who book a Taster Class, are only entitled to access to the Full Course if there are still spots available).
- Treat others with respect and avoid any form of discrimination, harassment, or bullying during class. Our instructors create a safe and supportive environment and welcome feedback for improvement. Students should follow instructions, communicate clearly, and take care of the space/studio. Act Attack and instructors are not responsible for any damage to the space. In cases of sickness, health issues, or accidents during class, neither the instructor nor Act Attack are liable. Students must disclose relevant medical conditions before class. Failure to do so releases Act Attack from liability if the student needs to stop the class for safety reasons.
- Regular attendance and active participation are essential. Missing more than two classes can disrupt group dynamics and the teacher’s plan, which may affect your ability to continue with the rest of the classes, with no refund possible. We aim to create a great learning experience together. We usually stick to our standard class packages but may consider a discount for students who notify us in advance of missing classes.
- Inform the Teacher & the group in advance in case he/she cannot arrive at a group course on time or cannot attend for any reason, by writing an instant Whatsapp message in the group chat, at least 2 hours before the start of a group class.
Amendments, Credits, Cancellations & Refunds
1. Course Rescheduling
Act Attack may reschedule course dates for the following reasons:
- A. Minimum enrollment not met (7–8 fully registered students)
- B. Teacher or studio unavailability/illness
- C. Severe weather conditions
- D. Urgent safety or health concerns (e.g. lockdowns)
Students are notified promptly. No refund obligation if rescheduled within 2–3 weeks of the original start date. If cancelled or rescheduled a second time beyond that window, a full refund or credit will be issued.
2. Classes, Credits & Refunds
Act Attack offers 6, 7, and 8+ class packs, with the price per class decreasing as the number of classes increases. A taster class is available for those who wish to experience the course before committing. Once a course has commenced, all associated costs — including teacher fees, studio rental, and course planning — are fully committed. Courses require a minimum of 8–9 enrolled participants to proceed. Act Attack will always endeavour to find a fair resolution while ensuring the best possible experience for all participants.
If You Know You’ll Miss Classes in Advance
If you know in advance you'll miss 3 or more classes, we can offer a flexible rate of €45/class, subject to availability. However, if you're missing more than 3 classes we recommend joining the next season instead so you can enjoy the full experience.

Any exception to the standard refund policy is granted solely at Act Attack's discretion and is not guaranteed.
In the rare case that a course is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be issued regardless of the above.
