Terms & Conditions - Act Attack Training Courses

Act Attack is Committed to Ensure That:

  • Our courses are led by experienced, inspirational, and motivational instructors, with most being native English speakers and a few who are highly fluent in English.
  • Classes are typically taught by the same teacher throughout the course. In the rare event of an instructor's unavailability, we ensure a qualified substitute continues the course seamlessly.
  • We don’t have a permanent office or dedicated locations. Instead, we rent versatile studios, like Yoga or other spaces, specifically for our theater classes and always very close to the city center. Because these spaces host other activities, visits outside of our scheduled class times aren’t possible. Only our teacher is present during classes (and of course George or the community assistant, reachable via WhatsApp) . While we’d love to have our own spaces in all 8+ cities we operate in, this is something we hope to achieve as we grow 🙏🏼
  • Act Attack courses are tailored for total beginners and people with little acting or improv experience, and most do not include a final performance. Based on demand, beginner courses may progress to intermediate and advanced levels, potentially leading to a final showcase. We prioritize student growth and satisfaction, adjusting course structures as needed to suit the group. While the course content generally follows what is outlined on our website, it may be slightly adapted based on the group's needs and abilities.
  • We occasionally capture photos, videos, or stories during classes with student consent for two purposes: A) to share memories and highlight student achievements, and B) to promote our community on Instagram and Facebook. We respect privacy and will not use images or videos of those who opt out. If any are posted by mistake, we will promptly remove them upon request. You can view previous posts at our instagram page.

As a Student, you need to:

  1. Pay (via bank transfer, payment link or via our new e-shop)
    • Option 1: Pay the full price for a course or class pack in advance, before the date of the first class or trial, if you have chosen to commit to a full course or package upfront.
    • Option 2: If you liked the trial class and decide to continue with the full course or package, pay the remaining balance (full course or package price minus the trial class cost) before the second group class starts.
    • Option 3: If you are only attending a trial class and not more classes, pay the trial class fee in advance, before the date of the first class.
NOTE: Priority is given to Students who booked a Full Course or Class Pack in advance (students who book a Trial Class, are only entitled to access to the Full Course if there are still spots available).
  2. Treat others with respect and avoid any form of discrimination, harassment, or bullying during class. Our instructors create a safe and supportive environment and welcome feedback for improvement. Students should follow instructions, communicate clearly, and take care of the space/studio. Act Attack and instructors are not responsible for any damage to the space. In cases of sickness, health issues, or accidents during class, neither the instructor nor Act Attack are liable. Students must disclose relevant medical conditions before class. Failure to do so releases Act Attack from liability if the student needs to stop the class for safety reasons.
  3. Regular attendance and active participation are essential. Missing more than two classes can disrupt group dynamics and the teacher’s plan, which may affect your ability to continue with the rest of the classes, with no refund possible. Let’s create a great learning experience together! 🎭 We usually stick to our standard class packages but may consider a discount for students who notify us in advance of missing classes. 🌼
  4. Inform the Teacher & the group in advance in case he/she cannot arrive at a group course on time or cannot attend for any reason, by writing an instant Whatsapp message in the group chat, at least 1-2 hours before the start of a group class.

Amendments, Credits, Cancellations & Refunds

1. Act Attack may reschedule course dates for various reasons:

  • A. Ensuring a minimum of 7-8 fully registered students.
  • B. Teacher or studio unavailability/sickness.
  • C. Severe weather conditions.
  • D. Urgent safety or health concerns like lockdowns.

We notify students promptly of any changes and are not obliged to provide refunds if rescheduled within 3 weeks of the original start date. However, if the course is canceled or rescheduled again after this time, a full refund or credit can be issued.

2. Amendments or Credits
If a student has paid but cannot or decides not to attend a course or course package, they may request an Amendment or Credit (for the next season), provided all the following conditions are met:

A) The request is made at least 21 days (3 weeks) before the original course start date.
B) The original course still has at least 8 fully registered students after the withdrawal.
C) The Amendment or Credit is applied to another course within the same or next season that has available spots, and the request is submitted at least 1 day before the new course begins.

3. Refunds
Students can cancel their registration up to 21 days (3 weeks) before the course start date for any reason, for a full refund.
Cancellations made after this period cannot be accepted, as course planning depends on confirmed enrolments and studio bookings made in advance.

In exceptional cases, and only if all the above conditions are met, a refund may be granted with a cancellation fee as follows:

  • 21 days or more before the class: 100% refund
  • 20–14 days before the class: 90% refund
  • 14–7 days before the class: 80% refund
  • 7–0 days before the class: 70% refund

Please note that partial refunds or discounts for missed individual classes are not available.

4. In order to offer the best possible experience, informative and quality content, and access to resources, Students may need to allow access to limited personal information (first name, last name, email address, phone number). The information collected is for the exclusive use of Act Attack. Act Attack will not share personal data with any third party and the customer can request removal of their data.
