Act Attack Is Commited To

1. Great teachers. Our courses are led by experienced, inspiring instructors. Most are native English speakers, and the rest are highly fluent.
2. The same teacher throughout. In the rare case your teacher is unavailable, a qualified substitute takes over so the course continues smoothly.
3. Central, flexible studios. We don't have a permanent office. Instead, we rent versatile spaces, like yoga studios, close to the city centre. Since other activities happen there, visits outside class times aren't possible. During class only the teacher is on site, and George or our community assistant is always reachable on WhatsApp. Having our own spaces in all 8+ cities is something we hope to achieve as we grow.
4. Beginner friendly courses. Our courses are designed for total beginners and people with little acting or improv experience, and most don't include a final performance. Depending on demand, groups can move on to intermediate and advanced levels, which may end with a showcase. Course content generally follows what's on our website, but we may adapt it to the group's needs and level.
5. Photos and videos with your consent. We sometimes take photos, videos or stories in class to share memories and highlights, and to promote our community on Instagram and Facebook. If you'd rather not appear, just tell us and we won't use your image. If something is posted by mistake, we'll remove it as soon as you ask. See our past posts at instagram.com/actattacktheater

As A Student You Agree To

1. Book on time, by bank transfer, payment link or our e-shop
   - Full course or pack: pay before the first class or taster class.
   - After a taster: if you'd like to continue, pay for your pack before the second class.
   - Taster only: pay before the class.
   
   Students who book a full course or pack in advance get priority. After a taster, you can join the full course only if places are still available.
2. Respect everyone and the space. No discrimination, harassment or bullying. Our teachers create a safe, supportive environment and welcome your feedback. Please follow instructions, communicate openly and take care of the studio. You're responsible for any damage you cause on purpose.
   
   Your safety matters to us. Please tell us about any relevant medical condition before class, and always move within your own limits. Act Attack is not responsible for injuries caused by a student's own actions, or by a medical condition that wasn't shared with us.
3. Attend regularly and join in. Regular attendance matters for the group and the teacher's plan. Missing more than 2 classes may affect your ability to continue the course, with no refund. If you know in advance that you'll miss classes, see our flexible rate in the Terms.
4. Let us know if you're late or can't come. Message the teacher and the group on WhatsApp at least 2 hours before class.That's the final version, ready to paste. The only open point is whether exali covers studio mirrors and floors, so it's worth a quick email to them before you rely on it.

Amendments, Credits, Cancellations & Refunds

1. Course Rescheduling
We may reschedule a course if:
A. Minimum enrollment isn't met (8 fully registered students)
B. The teacher or studio is unavailable, or the teacher is ill
C. There are severe weather conditions
D. There are urgent safety or health concerns (e.g. lockdowns)

We'll let you know as soon as possible. If the new start date is within 3 weeks of the original, your booking simply moves to the new date.
If we move it more than 3 weeks, reschedule a second time, or cancel the course, you'll receive a full refund or credit.

2. Class Packs
We offer 6, 7 and 8+ class packs, and the more classes you book, the lower the price per class. Not sure yet? Try a taster class before committing.
Once a course starts, all costs (teacher fees, studio rental and course planning) are fully committed. We'll always do our best to find a fair solution while keeping the best experience for everyone.

3. If You Know You'll Miss Classes in Advance
If you know you'll miss 3 or more classes, we can offer a flexible rate of €45 per class, subject to availability. If it's more than 3, we recommend joining next season instead, so you get the full experience.

4. If You Miss Classes After Booking
If you miss classes or want to cancel after booking, you can get make-up classes:
Miss 10 → 7 make-ups
Miss 9 → 6 make-ups
Miss 8 → 5 make-ups
Miss 7 → 4 make-ups
Miss 6 → 3 make-ups
Miss 4 or 5 → 2 make-ups
Miss 2 or 3 → 1 make-up
Miss 1 → no make-up or refund

Make-ups depend on availability and can be used in a similar course the same week or next season. You can also transfer them to a friend, just check with us first 🙏
Your teacher can also give you home exercises to help you catch up, just reach out 💬

Once the course has started, changes and make-up classes are only possible if at least 8 participants with a paid pack remain.

5. Cancellations Before the Course Starts
21+ days before → 100% refund
14 to 20 days → 75% refund
8 to 13 days → 50% refund
7 days or less, or after the course has started → no cash refund, only make-up classes (see section 4)

For serious illness or a family emergency, you can contact us with supporting documents (e.g. a medical certificate) and we'll review your request. Exceptions are at Act Attack's discretion and not guaranteed.

If a course is cancelled due to low enrollment, you'll get a full refund regardless of the above.

6. Important Notes
No refunds or discounts for missed single or taster classes.
Once a course starts, we expect you to commit to the full program (we recommend missing no more than 2 to 3 classes).

This policy helps us keep groups stable and give everyone the best experience 🎭

7. Personal Data
To give you the best experience, content and resources, we may need some basic personal information (first name, last name, email and phone number). This is for Act Attack's use only. We won't share it with third parties, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, COPYRIGHT, BRAND PROTECTION AND FAIR COMPETITION

Scope
This policy applies to all individuals and entities interacting with Act Attack, including but not limited to teachers (current or former), collaborators, contractors, students, participants, website users, and any third party, regardless of whether a formal agreement exists.

Ownership and Legal Protection
All content and intellectual property associated with Act Attack is protected under Spanish Intellectual Property Law and applicable EU regulations.

Act Attack retains exclusive ownership of:

• Its brand name, logos, trademarks and visual identity
• Its distinctive course concepts, branded formats and commercial positioning
• Website content, course descriptions, photos, videos and marketing materials
• Pricing models, business systems and commercial structure
• Marketing strategies, databases, digital assets and internal systems

Teachers collaborating with Act Attack retain ownership of materials, exercises and methodologies independently developed by them outside the scope of Act Attack, provided such materials do not reproduce or substantially imitate Act Attack’s branding, proprietary formats or commercial identity.

Any materials or formats developed collaboratively within the context of Act Attack courses shall be governed by the relevant collaboration agreement.

No Implied License
Access to this website or participation in any Act Attack activity does not grant any license, assignment, transfer or right of use over Act Attack’s intellectual property.

Prohibition of Copying or Imitation
It is strictly prohibited to copy, replicate, adapt, distribute or commercially exploit Act Attack’s proprietary formats, branding elements, course structures, methodologies, pricing models, marketing language or distinctive commercial positioning.

The creation, promotion or offering of services that are identical or substantially similar in structure or presentation in a manner likely to cause confusion, association or unfair competitive advantage shall constitute a violation of applicable intellectual property and unfair competition laws.

This prohibition applies whether or not the individual has previously attended a class or collaborated with Act Attack.

Brand Use and Misrepresentation
The Act Attack name, logo, reputation, student community or brand recognition may not be used for personal or commercial purposes without prior written authorization.

No person or entity may represent, imply or suggest affiliation, endorsement or partnership with Act Attack unless expressly agreed in writing.

Confidential Information
Any person who gains access to non-public information relating to Act Attack, including but not limited to business strategies, pricing structures, client data, marketing plans, operational systems or future projects, agrees not to disclose, reproduce or use such information for personal benefit or for third parties, during or after their relationship with Act Attack.

Non-Solicitation and Fair Competition
No individual or entity may directly solicit Act Attack’s students, clients or business contacts for competing services using information or access obtained through Act Attack activities.

Independent professional activity is permitted provided there is no misuse of intellectual property, confidential information or brand association, and provided such activity complies with Spanish and EU unfair competition regulations.

Enforcement
In the event of infringement, Act Attack reserves the right to pursue all civil, commercial and criminal remedies available under applicable law, including but not limited to:

• Immediate removal of infringing materials
• Termination of access or collaboration
• Injunctive relief
• Financial compensation for damages
• Legal costs and associated expenses

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain.

Any dispute arising in connection with Act Attack’s website, services or activities shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Barcelona, Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection regulations that may apply in other European Union jurisdictions.
