Meet Gabriella: Award-Winning Performer and Theatre Maker Joining Us in Lisbon

Gabriella is a Danish-Brazilian actress, director, writer and producer with thirteen years of teaching experience across theatre, English, Danish and Portuguese. She holds a degree in Theatre from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, with further training at the Galpão Cine Horto Theatre School in Brazil and Ryslinge Efterskole in Denmark.

Her work spans stage and education alike. She spent two years on the education team at Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil in Belo Horizonte, co-founded the company Cia Quatro Quartos as actress, director, playwright and movement coach, and created WORDS IN ACTION, a creative training built around bringing text to life. She is also a co-founder of Teatro do Imigrante in Lisbon, where she acts, produces and curates the programming for their cultural space.

Gabriella won the Lisbon Poetry Festival Poetry Slam in 2023 and the Todo Mundo Slam in 2024.
